Travelling to PNG is my iPhone 7 + unlocked?

On your iPhone 7......
Tap Settings
Tap General
Tap About
Scroll down and look for Carrier Lock
If Carrier Lock says SIM Locked, the phone is locked to your current carrier. Contact them and ask them to unlock the phone.
If Carrier Lock says No SIM Restrictions, the phone is not locked and you can set up service with another carrier
Things might be easier though, if your current carrier has an International Plan option. For a set fee.....something like $10 a day for example......you will be able to connect in PNG and just about anywhere else in the world.
