Mac is freezing

Hi,

Every time I open my Mac air it freezes and I can't move the mouse and no buttons work (like f3 or f4 etc).

I have to hold down the off button and turn it off and on again for it to work again.

I don't know how to stop this, please help, I only got the laptop this year brand new.

Thank you, Eve

Hi,

Try to start up in Safe mode, then normal boot could solve your issue.

Start up your Mac in safe mode – Apple Support (AU)

If it doesn't help, try to reinstall macOS with Recovery mode which could solve your issue.

Use macOS Recovery on a Mac with Apple silicon – Apple Support (AU)

If it doesn't help either, you should take your MacBook Air to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Air there before one year limited warranty is expired.
