Can I use the power adapter of my 15" MacBook Pro (2011 Early) for my 13" MacBook Pro (2011 Early)?

Can I use the power adapter of my 15" MacBook Pro (2011 Early) for my 13" MacBook Pro (2011 Early) without any problems?

The rule is,

power adapter with equal or LARGER capacity in Watts {60W, 80W, 100W, 140W} (and same output interface {Magsafe-1, MagSafe-2, MagSafe-3, USB-C} can be freely substituted with no problems whatsoever.


Using a smaller MAC power adapter can be troublesome. It may not RUN properly, and you may have to shut down your Mac to make any progress in charging.


Using an iPhone power adapter is out of the question. iPhone power adapter can provide only one tenth to one twentieth the power your Mac needs to operate properly.
