Adding Australian business phone number to Apple Maps business location listing

My business is located in Australia, phone numbers have the format (03) 1234 5678, however Apple Business Connect Maps won't allow this, and says "phone number must be valid format."

This is the correct format all over the country, which is selected correctly as well.

Previous reply said remove "0" but that just results in number shifting into the brackets (31) 2345 678.

Please advise.

Happy to remove my number if need be.
