Hi, I just got a brand new iPhone 13 mini with iOS 17 and when I type, the phone very often types two or even three same letters just by one touch of my finger. I have to type extremely slowly to prevent this. Happens on keyboard, password, calculator, everywhere. Portrait and landscape mode. I tried updating the software, factory reset, removing protecting glass and nothing helps. Is there anything I can try before I return it? Thanks.
Hi, I get the same new iPhone a few days back and it has the same glitch. It is very annoying and, more importantly, writing a longer email is almost impossible. I has the problem with 17.6.1 as well as with the latest 17.7. I don't want to bump to iOS 18 yet, since it is not mature enough.
I tried the same things as you did and right now, I'm deciding whether I'll return it or whether there is anything else I can do with the setting.
