Exporting a slideshow from my desktop Mac to a USB flash drive. It shows each picture being exported to the flash drive, but when it comes to the last photo it just stops. It does not finish the process. I have format of the USB Drive and there is enough room on it so any suggestions on why it just stops at the last picture? Thank you so much.

Have you tried exporting to a folder in Desktop, and then just dragging to the flash drive?
Flash drives are usually formatted in ExFat which isn't an Apple format. Files should store OK, but processes may not work as well.
On the other hand, the flash drive may just be flaky-- not at all unusual for flash drives. That's one reason that I'd prefer to do all the work on my computer and then transfer.
For Apple, the best formats are APFS and Mac OS Extended (Journaled). You can format it with Disk Utility. APFS is newest-- you have to select the drive and choose GUID scheme to get that choice. Other computers may not be able to read Apple formats, though. FAT 32 can be read by everything.
I tried saving a slideshow to a FAT32 Flash drive just now, and it worked fine. I created the slideshow as a project by selecting pictures and choosing File>Create>Slideshow>Photos-- is that what you did?
Do you have videos in your slideshow? Videos may be problematic, but the slideshow that I just put on a flash drive and videos, and they worked fine.

Thank you so much! What is the correct format for the flash drive? Also, I did make a folder and dragged the slideshow to flash drive. It showed it copying the info but the same thing is happening. The process gets to the end and doesn't complete. It shows 2.25GB of 2.25GB-about 5 seconds. It has been over 5 minutes and it has not done anything.
I have tried 4 different flash drives.... sigh I don't have APFS as an option, I do have Mac OS extended (Journaled) so that's what I used. Yes, I made the slideshow as you described. It plays on my computer...just can't get it to a flash drive so that I can play it on a TV. I have only photos...no videos.
Hey! It has finally completed, but it didn't copy it as a slideshow, just a list of all the photos. ugh.
