But.....Apple strongly recommends that you install the software on a "spare" phone.....not your regular phone. Why? Some of the apps that you use now may not work with the beta software.....and.....there is No Support from Apple in the event of problems.

There is a reason why we see so many requests from users about how to go back to iOS 17.

It has not been released to the general public yet.

It is in beta.

It is not stable or feature complete.

It is highly recommended that you do not use it on your everyday device.

iOS 18 has NOT been released.

Signing up for a beta version means signing up to be a “Guinea pig” or “lab rat” - to help shake out problems with unfinished software.

If you want to run stable, finished software and you are not a developer, it is best to wait for the official release.
