i tried to call someone on the phone, it rung a few times but then i get a voice message saying the person you tried to reach has a voicemail box that has not been set up yet. what does that even mean?? i never heard that message before

it means exactly what is say, the person you're calling hasn't set up their voicemail, nothing you can do to fix it.
