I have upgraded my iCloud to 50gb and only using 2.7gb. But I am still getting the “almost full message. How do I get rid of the red dot?

Thank you for the screenshot.

Getting the Correct Amount to Show:

New iCloud Sessions:

Data inconsistency is commonly reported on these forums. New iCloud sessions often fix this. You'd log out of iCloud on all of your devices, and log back in, one-device-at-a-time. Perhaps it all needs to resync?

Getting the Red Dot to Go Away:

Wait it Out: If you just performed a change in the iCloud Storage Plan recently, then give it a day or so to show up as it should. See here: Paid for iCloud storage, red badge still won't go away - Apple Community

Perform Some Active Server Syncing:

If you backup you iPhone to iCloud > log out of iCloud, and then log back in, that may make the server to sync, successfully.
