Macbook M3 Pro 16 inch Screen Crack

My Macbook M3 Pro screen cracked in front of my eyes. After reading on here that Apple haven't been taking responsibility and the genius bar folks are insinuating that it is the user's fault, I decided to avoid the hassle and have it repaired under my home insurance policy.

I received my laptop back a few days later with a new screen. The next day I was browsing and the screen started to crack again in front of my eyes. I have sent it back for another screen replacement and as it is costing the insurance company £1000+ for each screen repair they have informed me that they will not repair the laptop if it happens again.

Does anyone know if Apple have acknowledged this as a manufacturing defect as it seems to be happening to quite a few of us?

Have not heard this..

please note: Using a camera cover, palm rest, or keyboard cover on a Mac notebook - Apple Support

Typically Apple repair or AASP repair has a 90 warranty on part and labor. I would return it for a screen that is not cracked.

If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.

AppleCare Products - Mac - Apple

or if you had Apple repair within the last 90 days, return it to for service if there are still issues.

if you think this is some bigger issue—
