Help! Apple Music free trial not working

I claimed a 3 months free trial for Apple

music, 13/08/2024. However it is not working.I have a confirmation email.


After claiming the free trial I cancelled it to make sure I wouldn’t be charged after 3 months (November 2024) normally with other services you can still use the free trial until that end point.


However upon setting up the free trial, it asked me to sync my library in my settings in order to create playlist, however it kept syncing for 5 seconds and then it would

disable itself. As recommended by other advice on this website, I signed out and signed back in to fix this. After singing back in I opened Apple Music to find my free trial gone? This is when I received the confirmation email to confirm that I did request a free trail.


The only option I have now is to pay for an individual subscription for £10.99. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, singed out and signed back in, nothing seems to be working.


Any solutions???

This sounds like your problem. If you were paying for a subscription, I believe that you'd get the remaining time that you had paid for. But there seems to be disagreement over whether cancelling a free trial gives you the same grace period.
