It flags that I have to enter password... I do . it does not accept on Outlook. What am I doing wrong?

Your post is a little confusing. What password are you having trouble with? Your iCloud password? Or your Outlook password? What are you doing when this password is being requested?
If you forgot your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com to reset your password.
