I am trying to turn off find my phone for repair but it will not turn off

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 17

Hi!

Try this!


On a windows or Mac computer go to https://www.icloud.com/find and sign in with the Apple ID that the device is attached to. Select said device and make sure to click REMOVE. This should turn off find my. I hope this is not the case here but if Stolen Device Protection is turned on, there could be a security lockout to where that is being prevented. Try turning it off if so and waiting for the timeout before trying to turn off Find My again.
