Remove a Name from Photos

I was trying to remove a misidentified name from photos in my ipad photo library. I selected "remove name" thinking that it would just remove the identification. Did it instead delete all the photos from my ipad? There was no warning that it would do so.

If the photos are completely deleted from your Photo Library, you can go into "Albums," and at the bottom, you should find a folder called "Recently Deleted" where you can recover your deleted photos.

But if you still have the photos, but only the person was deleted, you can re-add the person by swiping up on a photo with their face and clicking on their face icon at the bottom.
