Just noticed that all my previous and future events from the Calendar app are now missing. No changes have been made from this side. Please advise on how to recover these as there are important dates that are now missing.

You can have multiple calendars inside the Calendars app. Make sure you have the one you want toggled on.

Thanks - I do see the various calendar categories such as Home/ImportantDates/Work/Calendar etc but they are all selected so it should’ve shown all my events but they are not.
