Restoring icons on my home screen

Swipe to the App Library. It's after the last Home Screen. Tap on the search bar to find Photos. Press and hold on the icon. The timing can be a bit tricky but it should pop over to the Home Screen. Let go.

You can restore App Icon on your home screen by finding it, long pressing on it and clicking "Add to Home Screen".
