Why aren't my gridlines printing in Numbers?

I am using Apples application Numbers

I used a Table Style

Customised the spreadsheet as required

I go to print it

On my print Preview I have all the headers, footers, gridlines all showing me how my print will look

I print it

No Gridlines and it is very annoying as I need those lines going across each row.

I cannot find out anything on how to get these gridlines to print

Can you help me.

What happens when you File > Print > Print ... Open in Preview (in the PDF dropdown)?

Do you see the gridlines in Preview?

If you do see them, then there may be a problem with the printer driver.

If you don't see them or even if you do and they are faint, then you could try going back to the table, selecting cells, and thickening the borders.

Hi Kathryn,

So that we are on the same page (ouch!) these are gridlines:

Format Panel > Table

These are borders:

Format Panel > Cell

I don't bother with gridlines because I don't understand how they work.

Here is a table from my preferred Custom Template. It has 1 pt borders around each cell and they print perfectly.
