Apple Pay saying my email is invalid

Trying to use Apple play and it is saying my email, which is my main email I use for everything is invalid and needs to be updated. Is there a way to fix this without using a new email?

What are you attempting to do that you are seeing the error message? Is it something online or what exactly?
