Siri is unable to find WhatsApp contacts after updating my iPhone 14 Pro Max

when ever i ask siri to make a call with whatsapp it say what apps did not fine a matching contact when i dial the contact direct it works . this start to happen when i updated my phone to the latest IOS

how can i solve this ?

Siri unable to access contacts when placing a call I generally use my Siri voice assistant to place calls using whatsapp and it could do it very easily. From the past few days when i try to say “Hey siri call bob” it replies whatsapp could not find bob. It could do that earlier not anymore. Why Siri can't call any contacts after iOS 18 update? never had any issue with calling people using Siri, but as of installing IOS18, Siri does not call 'Freddy' anylonger, instead it looks for a 'place' called 'Freddy'... tried to get it working again using Apple chat support AND Apple phone support but the only solution is to reset my iphone which i do not want to do... so if anyone out there is knowing the anwers to this please let me know... Siri doesn't read content of new Whatsapp messages I had been using WhatsApp with Siri for a long time without any problems, that worked perfectly. Now I have a new cell phone (iPhone 15) and updates from iOS and WhatsApp (including privacy messages, etc.). When I ask Siri to read new messages, it detects them (“There are x new messages in Y groups”), but the content is not read aloud. Instead, I immediately get “Would you like to reply?” When my phone is upside down on a table, I do get the content read aloud immediately when a message arrives (but not on request): “Someone says: [message content].” Note: everything still works normal for text messages via SMS. Is this a privacy setting that I need to change if I just want to ask for messages to be read aloud again? Any suggestions? Thank in advance!

Make sure that your uphknd it’s up to date with iOS 17.6.1 and go to the AppStore and update your WhatsApp app because that issue was fixed about a week ago

Oh my god. Well, WhatsApp is a third-party app for communication, and I think Siri can do things with third-party apps. So that is kind of a bug. If you use a beta, report that on the Feedback app.
