I have 2 group iMessage with the same name and people. Can they be merged?

I have 2 group chats with the same people and the chats have the same name. Can the two chats be merged?

Duplicate iPhone group chats with RCS vs. SMS issue I'm in a 7 person group chat, with a mix of iPhones and androids. Never had a problem until December ( maybe around the time of an IOS update), and suddenly I have 2 identical group chats, almost like one of the groups started over, but it's all the same people, no one has a new number. Now most of the texts come through on the newer chat, but sometimes a single person will show up on the old chat, that person has an iPhone as well . If I try using the old chat then the text sends in both places. Is there a way to combine these 2 chats into one? multiple group chats within Messages with the same people I have a group chat with my immediate family, but my Messages app is showing it as three different group chats; each thread has the same people and uses the same group name. This is apparently unique to me, as I was cleaning out messages yesterday and updated names for the older threads and it severely confused my mom. And now I just received a text to one of the group messages that was "older" for me. Is there a way for me to merge these threads together on my end?
