Without the credentials for the Apple ID signed into it and used to activate find my, you’re going to end up with a brick, even after erasing the device and restoring ios.
You will either need to recover access to the account or provide Apple with the original proof of purchase for the device to have the activation lock removed.
If you are locked out of your iPhone and forgot the passcode, you can either place your device in recovery mode and connect it up to computer or factory reset it.
On the iPhone unavailable screen, select Forgot Passcode. You will need to verify your Apple ID login, if you forgot, go here. Now you can either keep ESIM and erase data or delete your ESIM and wipe all data. When your device restarts, you can restore it from a backup.
You can also use a computer to reset your iPhone password.
