The App Store can't be removed so it's there somewhere. Do you have any restrictions set in Settings>Screen Time>Content & Privacy Restrictions>iTunes & App Store Purchases?
Using Spotlight is not a bad suggestion. However, it's no longer possible to determine exactly where the app is from the Spotlight search results. So, unless you want to use Spotlight to find it every time you want to use it (and I certainly do that with some apps), you'll need to go through any folders you have on your iPad to find out where it is and then move it to where you want it.

Keep swiping left on your iPhone till you reach the App Library, from there you can access all your apps, including the App Store.
If the App Store is still not there, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > and make sure that you choose "Allow" for the Installing Apps setting. The App Store should reappear on your device.

I suggested spotlight and agree that you're right, it does not tell you where the app is located, it only assists you in opening it.
