Safari "Preferences" location?

I cannot find the "Preferences" location in Safari. It is not located in any of the tabs in my Safari settings. I have a MacBook Air that is only about 2 years old. Thanks for any help...

The name has been changed to “Settings” and you can find it if you click on the “Safari” tab at the top left of the toolbar.
