Switching from iPhone to Flip Phone

As long as the physical SIM is the same size, that shouldn't be a problem. But what you need to find out from your carrier is if the plans are different for iPhones than flip phones and if they need to make some changes in the way your account is provisioned. The iPhone voicemail feature is different from the basic voicemail feature for example. Your carrier may need to change the settings in their system.

Another thing to consider is that you may not need a data plan with your flip phone. So that's another thing to talk to your carrier about. You may be able to save some money.

But as far as simply popping the card out of one phone and putting it into the other, that is, as I said above, just a question of the slot sizes being the same. The brand of phone doesn't matter.

Your carrier can always assist you with providing a compatible SIM if the one you have is not.
