Apple mac book air m1 8gb 256 gb fcp and photoshop work smootly?

Can i work smootly in my macbook air m1 8gb 256 gb finalcut pro and photoshop like fcp 3 hour work project smootly?

In realty, the 16GB min RAM for Adobe products is a joke. Having used Adobe products for years, you will need 24 GB RAM min with 32 GB RAM preferred. Also, with Adobe caches and other user data which are stored in the hidden Application Support in the user Library folder, that 256 GB will get used up in a hurry.


For those products, I would recommend 32GB RAM and a 1 TB internal SSD for best operation of those products. I would also strongly suggest a new M2 Pro Mini.
