minimize window not working on ONE app

Macos Monterey.

Double clicking top pane/bar on any open window minimizes it into the dock. Has always worked just fine regardless of what app, file, folder or whatever it's about.

But as of a few weeks ago, Mozilla Thunderbird is refusing. Doesn't matter how or where I click, the window stays open. I don't know there should be some right-click menu popping up with a minimize offer as nothing happens when I try that either.

I have latest version of Thunderbird (128.1.0esr (64-bit)) so no update available. So, thinking of downloading and do a fresh installation, but worried that all data I have will be overwritten or something.

Anyone?

Getting Out of an App:

Get to the Desktop, and then "Force Quit" this app. Or if you don't want to close it, you can get to the Smileyface and you'd be in Finder --and no longer the app.  See my User Tip: [command+tab] Use it to Access your Mac when Something is Not Responding - User Tip

Command H will hide an App. Command Tab will show all running apps. mouse or tab through the list.

Full Screen App is easy using Mission Control

See open windows and spaces in Mission Control on Mac

For your third party App—if in doubt search the developers website or contact their: Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility/updates…
