How do I uninstall Webroot on my MacBook Air :?

When out-of-town, I had issues with my MacBook Air not connecting to my hotspot (iphone). In a panic and needing to work with personal/financial info, I took it to Best Buy (where I bought it). One of the Geek Squad installed Webroot. Later figured that the innumerable surrounding networks were ? "challenging" (for lack of a better word) the Mac when I tried not to use the public wifi at the hotel. No problem in a less tech-congested area. So, as Webroot is malware, how do I uninstall it?

It’s not technically malware, what it is is worthless on a Mac.

Please determine if Kurt Lang's reply in the following Discussion provides a solution: how to uninstall webroot on my mac ios Catalina?

If that doesn't work then restart your Mac in "Safe Mode" and determine if you can uninstall it while in that mode:

Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

And if that does not work, you may need to ask its developer for help: Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support. Be advised when I did that they could not help. It was necessary to erase the Mac. No other solution was forthcoming.

Best Buy did not do you any favors. Rule 1 of Macs is don't install junk.
