I trying to update apps on my Iphone 11 pro which I have had since 2019 and the app store is slow at even updating apps that I have and I tried restarting and force restart and even logging out of my apple account and logging back in and the problem is still there and this is after updating the software for the Iphone

It sounds to me like you either have poor connectivity where you live, or the Apple server has issues. Or it could be anything between your iPhone and the computers on which Apple keeps its apps.

Also you need to define "slow". With my iPhone it can take several minutes to update apps. To me that is normal.
with other wifi's it works fine but when I am at home and connected to my home wifi it grinds
So it sounds like you have a slow home connection, or a slow connection between your home and the node connecting to your home service. Troubleshoot those things or simply update when you have time to wait.
I used to have problems with slow wifi where I lived where I was connecting to a subscription node 2 blocks away. It turned out that many of my neighbors were using the same wifi channel I was and because the one I was using was so weak, being so far away, they basically drowned it out with their signals. It was like trying to talk to somebody standing at the other end of a room with a crowd in between all taking at the same time. I ended up getting a wired connection. Ethernet straight to my computer and no more slow wifi. Actually we do use wifi for our phones, but when I do I am standing about 12 feet from the router and have no issues.
My internet connection is just fine but a friend of mine is saying everyone doesn't matter if you are and Android user or an Apple user people are having the same promblem as me where it's a hit or miss kind of outage
