What happens if they don’t have express replacement item available?
2018 iPad Pro ….. ordered an express replacement on Monday… so far nothing done (5 days)…. what happens if they don’t have a replacement to ship out?

You may need to talk to whomever you did express replacement on a Monday to see if they have any refurbished 2018 iPad Pros and if not ask them what iPad Pro models they currently have in stock for you to choose from.
Did you buy your newer iPad through Apple? If yes, you need to contact a local to you Apple Store to help you figure out why it is taking so long for you to get the newer iPad you paid for.
I did it online…. They put a hold on the credit card on Monday and said they would be shipping a replacement….. I’m assuming since the process stalled that they don’t have the particular model (12.9, iPad Pro, cellular, and 512gb) in stock…..
I had to buy a new iPad Air 5th generation tablet from Apple in early 2022 since my older 10.5" iPad Pro would no longer charge because of the charging port being loose. I also had to buy my mom a new regular iPad to replace her 9.7" iPad Pro that would not charge either and I bought that one through Amazon and paid for over night shipping and I used her old passcode to get on that older iPad long enough to move stuff to the newer regular iPad I bought her earlier in 2022 from Amazon with overnight shipping paid for.
I'm having this same issue. It has now been a week with no movement other than the hold on my card and it’s stressing me out. Was there ever any resolution to yours?
