Can I delete Keychain password without losing its access on the website?

if i delete a password from my keychain, does that delete it from the website. trying to deal with hacked info and want a quick way to update 20-30 accounts. thanks

No, it doesn't delete it from the website. Keychains just stores your passwords for convenience so it is easier to provide them to the website rather than you typing them in by hand.


If you want to change passwords on websites, you will have to go to each one individually, log in, and change the password according to however the website manages passwords and other settings.


If you are going to do that, you probably ought to turn on multi-factor authentication on as many of those sites as support it - since you will already be on each of them.
