Pairing of apple watch with iphone x

Hello,

i am unable to pair apple watch se to my iphone X! Even the iphone is showing up to date to version 16.7.10 but still it is keep on saying iphone us out of date.

It isn't possible to pair an iPhone X with any watch on 10.0 or above.
