Won’t connect to WiFi but all roads says it should be connected.

i noticed that I am not connected to my WiFi HOWEVER it is clicked on. My router is working because my computer and my husband are connected. I am not on airplane mode. My data button is green . I rebooted my phone and also on and off the WiFi several times. In settings everything seems connected and fine but I don’t have that wifi symbol on the top of my phone and when I search it says I’m not connected.. everything else is connected. I did update all my apps last night while sleeping and just updated my software. And that mobile data pop up has been going on for a few weeks now. Any other suggestions ?? Thanks in advance
