I have macbook pro 2020 i5 and i used to use it with external LGmonitor. now when i plug the devices togenther i get notification that usb device uses too much energy and the connection cia usb c cable fails. it used to work perfectly. I run latest version of ios. on my sisters macbook air m1 monitor external monitor works just fine.
