Apps have disappeared from my iPad

Still have apps on my iPhone it is my iPad that appears to have lost.

Thanks for your advice, no I was not able to move off my email page where everything was frozen. No switch on - switch off which so often solves a problem. Pleased to relate everything was operating normally the next day.
