I now have two Amazon apps on my iPhone. Is one a possible virus?

You must having multiple duplicate apps on your iPhone. Instead of deleting the app, tap on “Remove from Home Screen.” This action will remove the duplicates on your iPhone will keeping the original app. This can happen when you drag duplicate apps from the App Library onto your app pages.

Have you tried force restarting your iPhone? Force restart iPhone - Apple Support. Also make sure you are on the latest iOS and software. If this issue still persists, try deleting the old app and use the new one.
