Updating MS Word for Mac - what should I do to activate it?
I received a number of reminders to upgrade my version of MS Word for Mac (previously updated automatically until October 23) so I downloaded Office 2019 today. But it's Read Only. I now find I can't use Word without activating via Microsoft 365 - which appears to require an annual subscription. I don't need the whole MS suite, only Word. What is the best option for a Mac? I'm totally confused. My MacBook Pro is 2017.
