Magic Mouse connects to wrong computer1

My wife, on her computer in our office, starts connecting to her Magic Mouse. It picks up on my computer, across the room. It will not complete connecting to here computer, (natch?).

How does she, or me, tell the mouse not to connect to the wrong machine?

Do you ever use this mouse on your computer? If not, I would suggest just "forgetting" the device from your computer.

You can do this by:

  1. Click on the Apple logo in the top left corner of your screen.
  2. Select System Settings (or System Preferences).
  3. Go to Bluetooth.
  4. Find the Magic Mouse in the list of devices.
  5. Click the 'i' or 'x' next to the Magic Mouse and select Forget This Device.
