Is there a way to fix AirPods Pro that were washed?

I accidentally washed my AirPod pros in the washing machine. It is still connecting and even playing through the earpieces, but it’s doing a beeping sound , I tried to blow dry it with cold air and I’m letting it air out now. Is there anything I can do to salvage my AirPods? I am in Florida.

Blow drying them was a good first step to try to get them to dry off.

I would also advise you do not charge them for several days. Placing them in silica gel packs are also another good step you can take.

It is not guaranteed whether this will fix the issue you are having though.

If you do not have Apple Care for your AirPods Pro you may be out of luck as repairing them is very difficult.

I would disagree with blow-drying them. That can just drive water further into the AirPods. Wipe them off and put them someplace dry and a bit warm. The suggestion to use silica gel packs if you have them is also sound.
