Apple care + for IPad Pro in India seems pointless

My brand new 2 month old iPad Pro stopped working and Inspite of having apple care + the authorised service centre in Mumbai has failed to deliver a replacement or even a loaner service. I’m without a device since 9th August. Spending on apple care plus feels like a total waste. Any recommendations on what I can do to get Apple to care?

Okay this is my last response to you.

please read point 10 again.

“We shall make all efforts to ensure the product is repaired within 10 days.”

How is it that you and I are interpreting this simple sentence differently?

Update:

NO update! This has been a very complex and frustrating customer support interaction I’ve had. And I never expected this from Apple.

After repeated scheduled calls with tech support team, the matter was escalated to the customer support team. A very curt woman - Renu - told me I have no choice but to either wait till a product is available (it’s the latest iPad Pro - brand new that stopped working) by 6th sept - ONE MONTH to replace my device all the while I’m left twiddling my thumbs OR I’ll get a full refund AFTER 15 days of Apple approving the refund - during which I have to physically go hand over the original box and charger to the service centre. I asked how can escalate the matter? Any email I can’t write any other department I can reach out to??? she said no. That’s it. She’s seems to be the ultimate word at Apple and there is nothing more she or Apple can do. I have to be without a device for a month.

When I asked if I can get this on record, I got another “no”. Apple cannot send me an email - while I have sent Renu emails and screenshots with my complains that she has received - regarding an expected date of delivery.

This official line of communication is becoming increasingly shady. Coming from India, I’m used to bureaucracy, but interacting with Apple seems sounds like I’m interacting with Vogons

look em up)

has anyone else faced this? A month for a replacement? Customer support exec whose fav line is “that’s all I can do.” And “no”.

Oh! I have Apple care PLUS. Clearly useless.
