You will need to boot into Internet Recovery Mode (Command + Option + R) to attempt to access the online installer for the most recent version of macOS compatible with your Mac. Sometimes it may only boot into the online installer for the version of macOS which originally shipped with the computer from the factory regardless of the keys used for booting.

Even though you erased the drive (or part of the drive), I would recommend erasing the whole physical drive (Intel Macs only) just to be safe (especially if you end up with an older installer). If booting to a macOS 10.13+ installer, then you will need to click "View" in Disk Utility and select "Show All Devices" before the physical drive appears on the left pane of Disk Utility. Erase the physical drive as GUID partition and APFS if installing macOS 10.13+, otherwise erase the physical drive as GUID partition and MacOS Extended (Journaled).

Since you were booted into a macOS installer.....it probably means your laptop was having a problem you were attempting to fix. What problem did the laptop have prior to accidentally erasing the drive? That same problem could be related to your new current problem.

FYI, you really should tell us the exact model of your Mac and version of macOS that was being used prior to accidentally erasing the drive. You can get the exact model of the Mac by entering the system serial number on the check coverage page here (please do not post the serial number on the forum since it is considered personal information):

Also, it helps to know exactly what this boot loop is like....including how far the boot process gets and any error messages that are shown. Is it booting to the OS on the internal drive? Or is it trying to boot an installer or into recovery mode?
