I cannot download Music on my Apple Watch Series 9

i have an I watch 9 running 10.6.1 & a 15pro phone running 17.6.1. When I open music app from within the watch app I see an album trying to download that I don’t want, the download indicator continues to circle without the download completing. If I edit & delete this in the watch music app it just comes back trying to download after a few seconds. It’s also preventing the download of any other album? I’ve tried restarting the phone & watch but this has no effect, how do I fix this issue please?
