Disturbing text

I got a disturbing text last night and don’t know if I need to ignore it or follow it.

The sender of the bogus message knows absolutely nothing about you. As kb1951 says, ignore it. There are millions of such messages sent/received daily …….. all of them scams.

This message looks like a really lame example of a cross between a sextortion scam and a tech support scam.

Good advice for both types of scams is to not engage with the criminals – and to not do anything they want to you do! Report the scam if you like – but do not reply to the text message, and do not follow the link!
