After 2 weeks of not using my MacBook Air, I turn it on. To my surprise, I see absolutely nothing. I shined a torch light at the apple logo behind the MacBook so I can see part of my laptop in an apple logo shape only that much. It's on so I can see that part of the screen but nothing else.

Either the brightness is turned all the way down or you have a hardware issue with the laptop.....most likely with the Display Assembly, but possibly the Logic Board.
Make sure to turn the brightness up.
If you have an Intel Mac, then perform a PRAM Reset (hold for at least two chimes if possible).
Yes. In my own personal experience with all things being equal, the Display Assembly is usually the defective part. If there is any accidental liquid damage involved, then the Logic Board is more likely.
Thank you for your solution. I will check if mine is an Intel macbook, if so I will do the PRAM reset. For the brightness, I'm sure it's completely up.
I've done the PRAM reset, as my laptop was Intel Macbook. But that did not fix my issue. So does it mean I have issue with the display assembly or the Logic Board?
