Tap edit Home Screen. Then when the icons jiggle, tap the 1 on the app you want to delete. That’s where you will see the option to delete it.
This was me for WEEKS. Super frustrating. It’s Settings, Content & Privacy Restrictions, iTunes and App Store Purchases…. Then…toggle the ‘Deleting Apps’ to Allow. Fixes it. Phew.
Try turning off Content & Privacy Restrictions completely at Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
What happens when you try to delete an app?
What app? Not all apps can be deleted. In addition, if you have set restrictions to prohibit deleting apps, you won’t be able to do that until you change the restrictions.

I can't anything like that anywhere on my phone. Where is it?
It doesn’t give me the option, it says remove app, then, edit Home Screen, it doesn’t give me the option to delete!
It still doesn’t give me the option, it says, remove app from Home Screen, or, cancel
im trying to delete games I don’t play, YouTube, nothing that I can’t delete. I know that there is a setting that won’t allow you to delete apps but it is set to allow, I have checked.
I tried that but it still won’t let e delete apps, it just says, remove app from Home Screen
