My Apple Cash transfer show a different amount

I sent my friend $60 on apple cash and it showed up as $45 on his side, where did my $15 go??

Check their iMessage. If you sent $60, they received $60. If they had any outstanding charges, the $60 may. have been used to cover and the balance would reflect in their Apple Cash.
