How can I disable iCloud Photos without losing my images?

Hey, I want to turn off my iCloud Photos. But I’m scared that all my photos will get removed from my phone after 30 days. I have chosen the option “Download and Keep Orginals” but I’m still unsure. So how do I turn off my iCloud Photos without my photos getting removed after 30 days? Because I do not want to log in to iCloud after 30 days and get one by one picture to my iPhone again. Thanks.

Ah, you may click “Learn More” shown in your screenshot.

I strongly suspect your iPhone is low on storage, and that’s the reason you’re seeing this message.

Free up iPhone storage, always keeping a minimum of 6GB free.

I have 20 GB of iPhone storage and 149 GB iCloud so it should be enough? I don’t get it.

You should never let your battery fall below 20% charge. And if you’re using Low Power Mode, turn it off until the sync completes.

What about your other Apple devices using iCloud? Are they well charged? Are they done syncing? Do they have sufficient free storage?
