Spam iphone calendar invites that I cannot unsubscribe or delete

I am getting multiple spam iphone calendar invites with alarms (all day events, repeating forever) and have done everything apple (and MSFT) state to do.

There is no “unsubscribe” option on the spam calendar event.
I cannot block the email address as there isn’t one.
I can't decline the event either because that is exactly what hackers want to know.

Apple Support call was USELESS- a waste of my 40' with 2 different people telling me: one to contact Microsoft (really?!)- the other one to press 'decline' to the invite (which is a BIG NO NO!!).

SHAME that the 2 giant techs cannot fix this. Yes, it comes up on my Outlook calendar, HOWEVER MSFT has figured out a way to stop the hackers and it is NOT showing on Outlook calendar on other non-Apple device, so then, sorry, it is APPLE's problem! NOT MSFT! Oh wait, Apple expects me to go around in life carrying my MSFT Computer instead of my Apple iphone?

Hey APPLE SUPPORT - here it is how to fix it since you don't know:

turn off the calendar, then turn it back on.

And you get paid for this?????

That is something only Microsoft can resolve. They were flooded with complaints back in February from users across all platforms who were syncing the Outlook calendar. There was never any public statement that I saw from Microsoft, but I would recommend changing your Password with that account just in case it has been breached.

You are probably aware the Microsoft will be implementing changes to Outlook accounts to help prevent hacks, but they won't be released until September.

Problem solved. Good Job! Outlook did have the problem earlier this year that was reported on the Microsoft support site. The issue immediately went away when the users stopped syncing the Outlook calendar.

yes BUT you still receive those spams. You need to be switching on and off to get rid from these spammers.

what they solved is getting rid of those that slide BUT NOT PREVENTING them from sliding in to start with.

Still a shame and a waste of our time!
