Locked out of account due to broken 2FA - too many verification codes have been sent
Hey, we're locked out of one of our company apple ids due to 2FA refusing to send any codes via SMS.
We have the phone number connected to the account, but it says 'Too many authentication codes have been sent', and does not send a new one. Same issue if we use iforgot. Contacted Apple support who were unable to resolve it. Waited a few days and nothing has changed. Now trying to recover the account, but the 2FA on the account seems to be completely broken, anyone seen this or know how to fix?
We don't have any Apple devices connected to the account, just a mobile number for SMS 2FA.
