Not receiving 2FA codes from anyone

Apple seems to leap to the assumption that this question - asked many times by others - relates to the 2FA code needed for the Apple ID. It does not.

Verification codes from any site do not arrive. iPhone 12, 2 years old. There's no way around it when a site wants me to enter a code to set-up an account and the code never arrives.

Come on Apple, get off you butts and answer these dozens, if not hundreds of identical questions going back 2+ years!

Apple has no bearing on any 2FA codes except the ones for your Apple ID. There's no answer for Apple to provide because it's not their fault or even have anything to do with them.

If you are not receiving codes for other websites Apple has nothing to do there. If they are being sent over SMS then contact your carrier and see if they have an issue with their service. If sent by email, then it's up to whatever the website is using to send them. Apple is not involved in any way with those codes.

That's like blaming your car dealer because there's a closure in a road and it took you 5 hours to get home in one of their cars.

Text message is a carrier feature. Tell them to get off their butts.

Also if you read the TOS you signed up for, there is no Apple in these user to user technical forums.

"There is no Apple representation in these user forums." Sad to see that you're accepting the fact that these two tech giants have washed their hands of the issue. If the soluition is within AT&T, then Apple could post here and elsewhere, the suggestion to contact AT&T. And Apple could work with AT&T to cure/prevent it. (BTW, the AT&T site isn't much help, either.) I can only conclude that neither company wants to spend money to help us.

Its interesting you want Apple do do something, but not AT&T, or nay other tech company? Why is Apple the one that is supposed to do this? They have nothing do with such issues.

How would Apple know this, unless they go around testing millions of website which is impossible to do.

You are asking Apple do somehow police every single website for issues they may have, you see how impossible that sounds?

Again, like asking your car dealership to police every road and high way and let you know if there is a closure or other issue.

Its not possible, Apple has no reason to do this it has nothing to do with them.
