I am unable to connect two monitors to my MacBook Air

I have a macbook air with an M1 chip. I can't get more than one external monitor to show up. What can I do? Do I need to buy a third party docking station like displaylink that has software as well?

From the M1 MacBook Air specifications:

"Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display at millions of colors and:

  • One external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz"

You Mac supports one external display.
